Office
The Marina Office is located in the floating pontoon at the head of B Pier.
Office hours
Winter (1 April – 30 November): 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Summer (1 December – 31 March): 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Toilets and Showers
Two unisex toilets, two showers and one disabled toilet/shower are located in the Office/Amenities Block. The hot water in the showers is activated with a $2 coin.
Laundry
The laundry with one washing machine and one dryer are located in the Office/Amenities Block. Tokens for the use of these can be purchased from the office.
Day visitors mooring
The marina, at its sole discretion, allows complimentary mooring on the section of the Northern Breakwater not occupied by berths for up to 3 hours on a first-come-first-served basis. This is to allow boats to use the facilities in Whangaroa and the Game Fishing Club. Mooring beyond 3 hours or overnight incurs a charge of $35.00. Please contact the Marina if you intend to stay over three hours or overnight. There is no water or power available on the Northern Breakwater
Berthage on the Western Breakwater
Mooring, tying up or disembarkation on the Western Breakwater is prohibited. The water outside this breakwater is an official designated fairway as it is the approach to the marina.
Security
There is 24-hr CCTV coverage of the marina, the coded access gate, the carparking areas on the road and the road in and out of Whangaroa.
Fuel
Diesel only (no petrol) is available 24 hrs at the GAS facility on the Clansman wharf. Eftpos, Visa, Mastercard, Farmers, BP and Diners cards are accepted. Note, the fuel facility is not owned or operated by the Marina.
Power Connection
If you are attaching to shore power your lead must be tagged and compliant and your boat must have a current EWOF. See Clauses 14.2 and 14.3 of the Terms and Conditions
